i took my vents out so the whole engine bay is open - i like how it looks and rain never hurts anything in there. i know others who have done this and they've never had a problem either.

in the winter i will probably put the vents back on so the snow never has a chance to pile up on the engine.

I talked to the service department about this because I was having probs with my car the other day (after I washed it) and they said there is nothing that can get hurt by water being poored through the vent so I guess we are all good.

i hope so.....i took my vents off too. lost the screws to put it back on.
