Well, it's true....rare, but actually does fix stuff under warranty. Just thought I'd share the good news. Maybe this'll help some of you guys with tranny gremlins.

A freind of mine is getting his tranfer case replaced under warranty as well.. No hassle at all! it took five minutes for them to decide to cover it under warranty.

My car is also in for warranty work tomorrow due to a leaking BOV that took less than 5 minutes to decide to cover as well..

Glad to see that others are getting problems taken care of as well..

they inspected my car today looked at it found nothing wrong with it but didn't charge me anything cause of warrenttee (otherwise would have been 3 hours labor)

Got the rear ball joints and driver's seat (wear) warrantied... I'm also having the fan controller recall taken care of at the same time when the parts come in... not stock.

Granted, it's no freakin' TC though!

torrance tried to make me pay for diagnostic check. i had to call corporate so i wouldn't have to pay.

Dealership is trying to pin my transmission clunking when turning noise on my Redline Fluid in the rear diff. They are finding every reason to blame me for the problem (do you race, what clutch. etc.) BTW answer to each is NO. Why don't they admit there is a problem instead of instantly blaming the owner?

I wouldn't have listed the dress up stuff...but I'm sure someone on here has had a dealer attempt to deny a warranty claim for such items.

This stuff has been on my car (progressively) every time I've gone in. No questions asked. In fact, the tech that replaced my engine harness was back there taking pictures of my car when I went in to talk to them about it. He was very helpful as well. He explained everything that was going on with my car and about his training on the Evo, etc, etc.

In case you guys didn't notice, they're also repainting a portion of my car.

Torrance sucks...that's where I bought my DSM at...or should I say got ripped off on my DSM.
