laying dragging

anyone got a ticket like this on the private lot?

Did you had to goto the court for it? how much was it?

let me know.

laying dragging is when you're doing 360 on purpose and get caught doing it.

it shouldn't be very major.. you didn't harm anyone and weren't near anyone (i hope).. there should be a way to not have it show on your dmv report.. talk to a lawyer who won't charge you... friend, family friend, or even a fellow EvoM'er!

lol. It was a VERY open and VERY empty lot. Noone was around and it was very late at night.

Anyway, it was while the storm was at GA. I was actually resetting my Compass on my radar detector. you have to do 2 complete circles. Then I just went little bit faster and faster.

So I guess noone actually got this ticket.

Evoego, I hope you're bitter for a good reason, because I'm sure you're not thinking straight with all the BS that you're listening from people.

That's what I'm wondering because it was done in a secluded PRIVATE lot, not in the public road.

I can vouch for that two circles required for resetting ecompass on Cobra9700. I do it all the time, not too fast though. Maybe you can take the manual to the judge...gl

B/w where in Atlanta are you? Atlant is nice...GO Yellowjackets!!!

Trust me. With the right knowledge and strategy, you could get a 3rd time DUI with a blood alcohol level of .14 dismissed.

This is a petty situation.

your not getting a 3rd dui dismissed, well maybe with 5k in attorney fees, etc., but its possible to get this ticket dismissed with the manual and some knowledge. good luck!

Same ticket as dragging frame in a minitruck... Shouldn't be too bad, could have given you a careless and unsafe driving.....................in a private lot (were you trespassing also?)

That's exactly what I was stating, little one. And for your information, it is possible to get any DUI dismissed if you know what to look for, without an attorney. I'm not about to get into it, but 5 things come to mind without the use of an attorney.

What you could try to do is say exactly what you told us.. You were setting your compass, and by accident started to pick up the pace so you immediately began to slow down. Unless of course you were burning out for a while a the cop was just sitting there spectating.

Either way, you weren't a threat to the general public and you were secluded from any public and private property. You didn't put anyone or anything in danger aside from yourself.

Push for traffic school and a fine. If not, see if you can convert the fine into something else like community service, more traffic school, or a wreckless driving program.
