The first time I visited the site I was able to view the catalog. I hit the back button, and now when I attempt to view the catalog, it asks for a login.

Why do I need to log in to view the catalog. I should not have to be forced to create a login account just to view the catalog. If I want to buy something, then I will gladly create an account.

[edit]

Also, when you create an account, you should CLEARLY state the privacy policy reguarding what your going to do with this personal information that your requesting as part of your account creation.

How do I know your not going to sell my info? Not that I expect you would, but when asking for this type of information from a customer you should make it clear what you intend to do with this info.

just my $0.02 (very experianced) cents

Resonated test pipe? Nice... any sound clips? How does it avoid an SES light?

it avoids an SES by basically creating a spacer between the o2 sensor and the exhuast. It just limits the amount of exhuast fumes it seas. Thats a real rough idea of how it work

Yeah, I noticed the log out issue. This is something we'll have to address. You can browse the entire catalog without logging on and/or creating an account, but there is a hiccup as you log out

We only use your information for our records. We will look into a privacy statement to assure you of this.

No sound clips as of yet but we'll try and get one posted on the WORKS site soon. The RTP does not avoid a SES/CEL light. It will trigger the catalytic inefficiency code.

This is incorrect. It sounds as if you are describing the anti-foul adapter technique that I use on my own personal car. This is not something WORKS is suggesting you use. It is simply one of many options available. The RTP does not include anything to help inhibit the CEL.

What happens the very first time I visit, I can view ONE item. then it looks like a cookie is written out, then any other attempt to view the catalog I get prompted to login. This happened on two separate machines running behind a proxy.

On my home machines it works normally with no prompts

Other than that the site looks good, but I would still ad a privacy policy statement to the create account page.

Ok, that would help alot to sell these RTP's... I just put on a cat delete and might consider this option to lower the noise a bit. You guys should considering selling somethin to get rid of SES... O2 sim as a package price?

BTW - that SES code does NOT trigger the car to go into safe mode or whatever correct?

No, the code does NOT trigger a safe-mode.

We are exploring the possibility of defeating the SES, but do not offer anything at this point. Stay tuned!
