actually, it doesnt say MAY. look in the description of the car, it says:

Original MFG Warranties
Basic: 3 Years or 36,000 Miles
Drive Train: 5 Years or 60,000 Miles
Roadside: 3 Years or 36,000 Miles
Rust: 7 Years or 100,000 Miles

if it says MAY somewhere else i missed it, but then he can get them for saying one thing then the other, classic bait and switch which is illegal. id definitly fight it bro! i feel for ya, one of my (former) best friends who sold cars put me into a 2001 eclipse gt with 30k miles, for 17 grand telling me it was a good price, and he was cutting a deal for me. that thing was a POS. i ended up selling it to carmax at wholesale price of 6 grand, because it was going to need a new tranny within the next 10k miles. (this was when i didnt know **** about cars and i was just happy to get out of my paid off dodge neon). needless to say he only had his job for 4 months, he got threatened a couple times by me and someone else he ripped off, and we harrased him so much he eventually quite. (the other dude got ripped off becaue he charged him 10 grand over sticker on a z06 vette!!!!! and the dude paid in check (i mean he had the money but still....) )

Agreed. I don't see where it says "may" anywhere. Everything I read says the warranty is still good.

JK, Sorry to hear about your bad experience with your Evo purchase. Hope you get this BS resolved soon and in your favor. I'm kinda curious though, How did the dealer know the car had a 75 shot of NOS just by looking at a hole where they believed nitrous was plumbed?

In My experience with ebay, when purchasing big items, such as an evo. I always try to find a seller with over 500 feedback. Call it crazy or stupid, but ive had over 30 successful trasnactions on items of worth.

I havent read all the posts but, were you going to mod the car? If so than that may not be all a bad thing. If you werent and need help replacing the stock pieces then let me know because I am trying to sell off my stock parts that I no longer need. Does it run fine and its just noisey, or it runs like crap period?

The ad states that there is a MFG warranty, and you bought it under the stated conditions which were the conditions that was on the ad. You have purchased or thought you have purchased a 2003 EVO in a certain color, with certain number of miles, with certain history AND with a warranty as stated in the ad. If the car does not have a warranty after the fact, then you are entitled to your money back or a equilavent vehicle. Just as if the car was actually blue and the ad saids black, you didn't get what they said you were getting. Lastly, if the "Warranty" portion of your paperwork saids, "3 year MFG" or something like it instead of "As Is", then you definitely have the right to get your money back or be compensated.

just to make sure i say you file a claim with ebay and whoever you paid for the transaction with (be it paypal or whoever) cause wednesday is well after 3 days. this way no matter what you have claims started and cant get screwed by it being 5 or 6 days after.

you should be able to get them legally as long as you arent doing it outside of the alloted time frame.

You guys have to look under th "terms" tab. Athlought the car was advertised with MFG warranty, but the "terms" state teh car MAY have MFG warranty. You might have a case.

AWWW man, First off I would never buy a car off Ebay. I would need to look at the car myself. Second those shots of nos must have done something crazy to the engine. My friend had a Rx7 and he only put NOS on his car because he was going to put a new engine in it and so he figured "I'll just blow off the engine by putting NOS in my car because I don't need it anymore." hahaha Anyways I would trade in the car and get smoething else.
