There's the thread. Claudius is full of sound tuning advice. Aside from that just reading around should be very beneficial and give you a good idea of where to go from there (if anywhere). Good luck and congrats on the new (and old
) car!

Welcome, Kayo
Where are you from?
The first thing you need is a good quality, lightweight, right internal diameter exhaust. Options would be Blitz NUR-spec, APEX'i titanium Muffler (Hayabusa or N1, forgot which) and the awesome sounding hand made Creatice Sports exhaust.
These exhaust are cat back, meaning replace the exhaust part after the cat, but not before. You should change the downpipe and turbo elbow as well, and get a straight tube in the same diameter to replace the cat (if you are allowed to do it or are willing to take the chance).
The Evo exhaust is like follows, from the engine to the rear bumper:
Manifold - Turbo elbow - Downpipe - Cat - Muffler (with back box)
Replace everything but the manifold with a 3 inch internal diameter exhaust.
After that, you should get a replacement ECU, pre-programmed (Ralliart, Mines) or programmable if you have a good ECU programmer where you live.
Next would be a boost controller. I have an APEX'i AVC-R and am very happy with it.
You could then get an air filter and a Blow off valve to get more breathing sound and better response from your car.
Also change the brake discs and pads, hoses and get some high boiling point (300°C or more) brake fluid.
Next get decent suspension. Depending on use or street conditions where you are, you may need monotube design dampers. Have you read the FAQ?
