actually.. the color on the console doesn't bother me. but for some reason, that color on the dash does bother me. Maybe because it doesn't blend in with the rest of the black dash... who knows..

It'll probably look pretty close to yours I kinda stole your idea, but I'm sure other people have done it too...I guess I'll need to buy the stereo relocation kit too, where's a good place to get that from?

uhm... they're the same color.... the plate that holds the shift boot? is that what you're talkin' about? that's what i'm talkin' about... if you don't wanna match that part then it'll remain the only glossy metallic grey piece in the whole car :\

just got this off e-bay today

POS sums it up pretty well

no tabs on the back to secure it to the car, the finish is crappy & still has lines from the mold as well as small pits in the fiberglass

in short, it has no mounting hardwareon the back, the finish will need to be bondo'ed to smooth out the pits & the opening for the 60mm guages is too large & does not hold the guages securly

not worth the trouble IMO, id rather just spend my time to make it right. rather than wasting my time to complain, have him tell me his "company policy".... get upset & then have to wait forever for him to put a half assed effort into a product he isint happy spending his time on.

the package comes with a 3x5 sticker stating there are no returns & if your unhappy, or your product got damaged in shipment, to go screw yourself (in friendly, legal format of course)

i could have it re shaped & graft in some clips in 45mins, its easier to accept i got a half assed product & warn others who might not be comfortable with bondo, than to trouble myself with haggling with someone over an e-bay product

hmm... i wonder if it's really so bad.... you're gonna have to prep it to paint anyway. the only thing to be really concerned about is the 60mm openings... aren't their gromets to put in gauges anyway?
