Hi
Yes, This race was held on one of the best Tarmac Tracks.
On qualifying day my bigger turbo got busted and I could not qualify. So I had to start on the last in the grid. In front I only saw 18 cars . Man it made me a bit worried because I only had 12 laps to catch everyone and almost all the cars were antli lag and fully modifed. I was also running on my standard turbo because I did not have a bigger spare one.
But lap by lap I took every one. In fact by the 4 th lap I was 6 th. And 6 th lap I was third. I had heavy competition from 2nd third cars which were evo 5 and a 6 all with antilag and GT tuned.
But end of the race I came second, but i am happy with the result.
And also the person who came first also drove well, so I guess he deserves it. But most important thing is that I am happy to have started at last & come 2nd, because the Subarus were so slow that I did not want to rear end them.
He He He He.

Even if an anti-lag system will slaughter your engine within a few hundred miles (probably not even) and that a bigger turbo would defeat the purpose of the tuning that mitsubishi put into it (ie a fatter broader delivery of torque throughout a wide powerband). lol
Dinan2000, good job on that race starting last on the grid. After carefully looking at your web site I understand why Mitsubishi would invite you to an Evo VIII test run. Must be exciting. Please share with us when you return.
