It goes without saying that a great relationship with the dealer and techs will go a long way with any make..especially Mitsubishi and Subaru. They have models now that reach a much higher price point bringing in much more educated and demanding buyers/owners.

All brands must strive to exceed the clients expectations. Mits was a little..(note: a LITTLE) ill prepared for the onslaught of potential issues it would face in regards to warranty denials..It goes with the territoty of the EVo though, so maybe they knew they would alienate some, but please a lot of others..

And the people that buy the BMW make are probably seeking LEXUS service standards??!! See what I mean? There are always issues within a brand in regards to warranty and customer service. Buy a Mits expecting BMW service or buy a BMW expecting Lexus satisfaction....and prepare to be slightly disappointed.

The dealers just have to strive to do better one client at a time. Can Mits and Subaru attain this?

Sure can.

You will see. We will talk about these things again in a year or so when Mitsu customer satisfaction and build quality according to JD Power, heads to the top. Laugh if you want, but it's going to happen.
