Bleeding off paint?

I was cleaning my car and decided to buff it when i noticed on the rag there was red paint! I dont know if its dead paint or what? I called the mitsu dealer and told them about the concern. Told me that the service manager would need to look at it to make a decision if its a factory defect. I dont want them to repaint my car, if its a factory defect i will demand that i get a new car. The car is a month old and im concerned the paint will keep coming off
Any one have the same issue???

It doesn't seem to matter if you do get a new car, the paint may still rub off .... better to make sure they do a good job painting your car (nothing wrong with that). Probably better than factory paint.

It's only the red. The chemical on the red paint is different that it'll fade away due to UV rays and sunlight.

Can't help it, most of the red cars do this.

Paint coming off when you're waxing it, you shouldn't buff it so hard.

We have a different paint system where the clear coat is mixed the paint and painted in single process rather than seperate process of painting paint first and clear coating it afterwards.

This not only happens on car paints, but basically on all red paints you see out there. (house paint, interior paint, etc.)
