I kinda like RallyXS. I think it's an Aussie mag, but it's about WRC. Seems to be a little biased towards Subarus though.

TPR, DSport... those are some of the only mags that actually know what the hell they are talking about AND have good info on things you want to know, not things you've heard a billion times ( ex. This "guy" has blah blah on his car and it makes XXXHP. The End).

my favorites are Sport Compact Car, Evo (British Mag), Turbo Mag

I hate Super Street and Import Tuner just because it feels like it is just full of trash, nothing really useful. The jokes aren't that funny and I just think it sucks basically.

Isn't AutoWeek the mag that can't test drive and tested a RS at 15 seconds??? Anyways I believe in my opinion that Car and Driver is indeed one of the best General car magazines out. As far as tuning magazines go, I really enjoy Sport Compact Car Magazine, I think they are very knowledgable on cars and they have very interesting articles. An example is when they wrote an article on the street racing in the Carribean or the article they wrote about true street sleepers. Then they have their annual Ultimate Street Car Challenge. No other tuning magazine has as interesting stories , they are just very inventive and creative and it isn't always just about facts and numbers. Sport Compact Car seems to be the only journalistic tuning magazine (Super Street is kind of similiar but in my opinion not as interesting). In second place I like D-Sport and Modified Magazine in a tie.

Road and Track is an awesome general magazine for all cars, but if you want a performance mag, Sport Compact Car is the way to go. I've had Super Street for a while and I'm gettin tired of all the gay jokes, even tho they have awesome cars in there, the writing sux. Gettin those first two soon.

Evo -- The Magazine

I agree. I really like Evo magazine. The Brits seem the most unbiased when it comes reviewing cars.

Modified is turning out to be an awesome mag. Thier pictures are very high quality and the paper they print on is superb. They have a good focus on the scene without too much dribble. Good coverage of races and particularly the drivers themselves.

Sport Compact Car in my opinion is the best that is out there. Their in depth coverage of project cars is top notch and they are not "brand loyal". They will cover Euro cars just as readily as JDM's. And they also provide rally coverage which I think is the best style of racing out there. They haven't jumped on the Drifting bandwagon but they do provide coverage of it. Something the other mags need to be aware of so they don't kill the sport before it gets a good life.

Turbo is a nice mag too for learning but they have way to much drag racing coverage.

I mentioned GRM earlier, but I must admit that I still get C&D. I used to have all the big 3, R&T, MT and C&D. I let the subscriptions run out on all but C&D. There's a lot of duplicated info and MT especially has some dumb ****. I just wish C&D would lay off all the news about trucks, because I could care less. If I wanted a magazine about trucks I would have bought Truck&Gunrack.
Point is, you have to get at least one magazine that keeps you up-to-date with all cars in general and C&D is my preference for that.
