Lightbulb what magazine is best????

i was just wondering if there are any worthy magazines out there that i should subscribe to......i have superstreet and import tuner, but theyre getting to the end of the subscription and theyre too geared toward hot import nights and stuff like that.....i know import tuner every once in a while has a section on their project evo with dyno tests, but thats it....so is there any magazine in particular you guys recommend??

Superstreet is one of the most uninformed car mags i have ever read. Id trust fast and furious for technical advice over SS. There was a magazine i read a while back called Tuner Performance Reports and that was pretty damn good.

AutoWeek is by far the best general car mag. It comes out every week so they always scoop the monthlies like R&T and C&D on all the car news.

If you want a specialized car mag that will have frequent articles on modding EVOs, I guess it's Sport Compact Car.

Doesn't Import Tuner have lots of Asian girlie pics? I love women, but I find that kind of stuff distracting and out of place in a car tuning magazine.

Autoweek is the car candy I read weekly.

EVO -- The English car mag is for true enthusiasts. Well written with great content. One of the best mags available!

BTW the have a long term test of a MR FQ340

Evo -- The Magazine

I agree. My Wife got me a subscription to super street last year and I was very dissastisfied. Every article was thoughtless and useless. The authors of the articles simply rambled about each other. IMO Stupid Street is geared towards teenagers and the "twentysomes"....Other than the cool pictorials and hot models that appear from time to time your better off watching 2f2f. Sport Compact and Turbo Magazine has been more useful and informative. If I were to subscribe to a magazine it would be a choice between the two.

I agree with badlooser if were talking about the same mag. I subscribed to turbo & high-tech performance magazine. I always see evo articles and stuff. Good mag and they do a lot of part reviews.

car and driver, is the most informational/ lowest bs content. i bought a super street the ther day, and puked. motor trend is pure crap. the only ones i read, are car and driver, sport compact car, and F1 magazine. i have to buy F1 though and i only know of one place that has it. also there is a WRC magazine but i have yet to find it anywhere. i cant believe that Car and Driver wasnt listed in the poll. Mods please step in!!!
