Just called my friend Matt from Ball Mitsu Service Dept. and he said that vortex generators fits 02-04 Lancer, 04 Ralliart and 03-05 Evo.

I guarantee you by the end of the year, we'll see hundreds of civics, cavaliers, and accords with vortex generators on their roofs.

As long as it is used the way it is supposed to be used, then use it.

Otherwise, it's a waste.

I would tend to agree, also I think that you would need a higher spoiler since the generator was designed for an evo spoiler.

so not worth the money. That's almost like putting a big sticker on the side of your car that says " i'm a sucker".

I rather spend that money on a front bumper splitter. It'll just work better than that ugly crap.

The vortex is SPECIFICALLY designed for the Evo to work in combination with the spoiler. Wind tunnels exsist for a reason and considering Mitsu wind-tunnel tested the spoiler, i'm sure this piece was as well, would be an interesting read.

If you read the technical paper published by Mitsubishi (which I just spent the last half hour doing), you'll note that with the exception of one figure, all of the other tests done for the development of the vortex generator were on a WINGLESS EVO. Even with NO spoiler, the vortex generator decreases the coefficient of drag (Cd) by 0.004. The thing with the Evo is that with the spoiler, the increased velocity downstream created by the vortex generator has the added benefit of also decreasing the coefficient of lift (Cl) by 0.013.

So YES you can put the vortex generator on another type of car and still have it produce results!

Well, a vortex generator would work for any sedan, but it probably would not be exactly the same shape. Didn't anyone read the quote I posted?

Edit: other than evolboost(thanks for the appreciation).
