sorry to vent but... they've took cheap plastic to the point where most teenie wi$$ers could go to walmart and buy their 5hp lighted washer sprayers & valve stem covers, mirror tails..etc. They're so big now. The VG better not go there.

Also, for those of you who think the VG is only effective with VIII spoiler...

The Tech Paper 2004 No.4 generally states that it is used to
control separation downstream due to the steep angle of the EVO's rear window.

So yes, it will still be effective with a wingless EVO.
Look at all the other sedans out there, EVO's rear window is as steep as it gets.
My grandma's 94' accord has smoother angle than that.
