rev limiter question

i've read ppl said the mr has an 5k rev limit
does the 05 gsr have the limter aswell?

The MR's rev limit is mid-7000. There was a rumour circulating that the '05s would have a type of launch control such that you can't rev past 5k with the clutch engaged. Can anyone confirm or deny?
