Evo MR Cross-country roadtrip report (pics)
Wow! congrats on becoming a proud member of the Evo family
I think most people would think you where crazy for doing this but being an Evo owner I completly understand why you would do it. And If I had to do it over again knowing how much I love my Evo I would do the same to get my hands on another Evo.

Congrats. That was a nice roadtrip story. I would done the same thing if there are some dealer that sell the car for msrp. I will never pay markup price for any car. Since youre from Irvine, check out www.socalevo.net. We would like to see you on one of our monthly meet.
I did a 600 mile round trip to get my MR. I'll be driving out to central Cali from SC in about a week with it. One thing I can say is that the car is much more civilizied on the interstate than I thought it would be.
damn man, all that driving for an 05 MR?!!!! Haha, congrats! Nice way to break-it in, hope you varied the rpm A LOT, sounds like you were cognizant of it, nothing beyong 5k, etc. . .your woman looks PISSED in that one pic, cracked me up so hard!!!
Or is she pissed you didn't let her drive??!!
Nice ride . . .congrats on the MR!

I see the gas prices were way cheaper than California. That must've been a blast! I've always wanted to drive cross country for the longest time. Time for an oil change eh
Great story and great pics!
