I didnt want to write about it before ,just because I AM LITTLE SUPERSTITIOUS(please dont ),but i already signed up contract a month ago with my dealer and this is what i got:

- #1 on the list
- as per MSRP $29,900
- pre-order discount which makes $28,800
- 272 HP (please be true!!!)
- cloth
- BLACK

Maybe i shouldnt signed it up ,but that was stronger than me !!!!!
I didnt take copy of the spec which the the guy showed to me(DUMMY!!!!!) ,but i think that was some kind a letter with the big watermark on it and it wasnt handwriting.This what i saw and its up to You guys if You want to believe or not.Still cant believe ,that i didnt take a copy (somehow),but i was so........

P.S.I can send a copy of my contract.

 

vittorio, do you think you could go to your dealer and get that letter with the specs? If possible make a copy or scan it so we can post it on the forums. I hope what your dealer says is true. I guess ultimately we should get something this coming January.

I just called those guys and they told me to come over ,but from this what i was told this not supposed to be spread outside till official news:soapbox: :soapbox: (BIG BS),cause this is against MITSU rules.
After that i called a guy from service depart(i know the guy cause i buy a lot of parts from him) . if he can do it for me for $$$ and i left my phone #.I'll find out on friday.

What everybody been waiting for the hp ratings! Well i'm not going to tell u where i got this info, but here we go.The us Spec lancer production model is 260 hp but the roll out model is 250 so there u have it 250 horses don't know the number on the torque

 

And the definition of a "roll out model" is?

And That talk about maybe getting a 6-Speed can be true. No one have said anything of this of a long time but this 6-speed manual transmission can be brought onto the 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII!! my guess and dream only.
