Should I Wait Till Next Year To Buy An Mr?

hey guys, ive been deciding on this for a while. i posted a question smiilar to this about 3 weeks ago.

anyways, the question is: will the price on the evo MR drop on january 2005, than what it is today? the reason is that im leaving the country by mid december, and will be there til mid january, and i just want to know if it will be worth waiting a couple months, since ill be only get to use my MR for a month or so if i buy it now. right now around the forums, ive been seeing people getting theirs for as low as 35k OTD. thanks guys!

Like imapunkclaimer said, there might not be any new MR's left. There's only 1000 scheduled to be build, and I know of at least 3 that have been totaled, and about 50+ other members on this site have bought one. So that's less than 950 left, and many many more have been sold, so you get the idea.

If you're looking for a second hand one, next year would be a great time. Happy shopping

Wait it out dude, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm going out of the country in Nov - Dec. Its not smart to buy something, start making monthly payments on it sooner, have it start depreciating sooner and not be able to drive it. Mitsu is slated to make an additional 200 MRs if there is more demand. I wouldn't sweat it ...

Screw it.. save ur money get an 05 STI.. you get more bang for the buck. Plus dont you want to be able to do rear wheel drive burnout, donuts, drifting, handbrake turn, lock your differentials for off roading, have a 6speed, have Active yaw control, its a bit more fun than an MR... but if your a tracker like me.. wait till next year and get MR.. i think they skimped out on US MR... No MR Bov, No Yaw Control... No Handbrake Diff Release..

a buddy of mine talked to a friend of his at a dealership and it was rumored that they will not make the MR's next year, only this year. Has anyone heard that. Like I said it was a friend of a friend that works at a mitsu dealership and we all know how that goes, not sure if it true or not!!!! Just a word...

Confirmed, I was told the same thing by Ken @ Appleway Mitsubishi, and I had already bought mine, so he had no incentive to make it up.
