I got a ticket for supposedly going 114 mph on Interstate 5 near Buttonwillow raceway about 6 weeks ago in my Audi S4. CHP officer was a putz. Claimed to get me on radar while driving the other way on a divided Interstate. If he is going the speed limit of 70 mph and I am going what he alleges was 114 mph (I deny it, of course), that's a combined opposing speed of 184 mph. He claims he visually estimated my speed too. What BS. I'm going to court for my arraignment next Monday. I don't need a lawyer, I am one. And they don't arrest middle-aged guys in $50,000 cars. Stay tuned.
