1 mean electric

Imagine if you will for a moment your sitting at a stop light and a small fire engine red electric commuter car pulls up next to you. The ones you would only imagine Rick Moranis driving on the set of “Honey I shrunk the kids”. The car has a the back seat filled with blue prints and small tin can lunch pale. So you look over past your beautiful girlfriend in the passenger seat only to laugh and point at this car you would hope to only see at a circus and expect 45 bright colored, white faced clowns to come pouring out smiling with balloons and poodles.
You rev the engine to your $150,000 sports car, again smiling ear to ear. The light turns green and your off screaming threw the gears rushing to the top of your revs, becoming more and more frustrated as this little “nerd mobile” just keeps your pace. Your only hope is to run to the curves ahead and lose him in the twisties ahead. Again the car bites at your heals with the authority of a two foot tall rabid Doberman pincher.
Finally you give up hope, hang your head and turn the corner hoping nobody saw you that would tell the tale to you buddies.

Well this story came to mind as I read about the Tango 600 from commuter cars, Here read all about this 0-60 in 4 second, Porsche handling super car.

Looks like a rollover waiting to happen. Checking out the autox vid now.

That's bizarre. I don't even know what to say.

It's not hard for electric cars to be quick they just don't have much range when driven hard. They have killer torque and it's the same amount of tourque whether it's just off "idle" or wide freakin open. GM has one prototype electric car at one of their facilities that faster than a corvette to 60 but, then it needs to be recharged.

Man, haven't you guys heard of the NEDRA? You can actually spell nerd if you just rearrange letters
Some of those electric cars are fast, Go-zilla!
By the way, the Tango 600 has an expected price of $85,000.

I Love these electric cars.. there's an RX-7 that runs 11's in the quarter powered by 3 electric motors, only problem is it needs a recharge after every run.. Thats the problem, no capacity since battery/fuel cell technology is very primative at this point.
