Advan warrantee??

I just changed my tires to Toyo Proxes 4 to get through the winter and I noticed that two of my tires have major treadwear and are bare on the sides. I only have 8,700 miles on them and they were rotated twice. I even asked mitsubishi if there was anything wrong with my alignment and they said no. When I took my car in last week I asked them to look at the tires and they said they didn't see anything. Is there any warrantee on the tires? Is there any way I can get them replaced? What should I do?

which two tires were worn, and what was the rotation pattern. I'm sure you alignment was bad, but its best to have all the fact.

they only look like they have no tread left but they really do. Only trained ppl can tell. Several ppl came up to me and told me the tires have no more life but the ppl at discount tire were like "you have tons of tread left". There is some sort of warrenty on them I believe. Read your manual, should tell you in there.

If there is no tread on both edges of each tire, but there is tread on the inside part of each tire, you could have under-inflated tires. If it's just one edge of each tire, then it sounds more like an alignment problem. There's not much a tire warranty is going to do, however. Neither of the above are the fault of the tire manufacturer. Neither is aggresive driving, which would also make the tread wear down quickly.

The inside edges on the front wear faster than the other edges. I rotate my set every 3500 when I change oil. The warrany covers tire defects not tread wear. Your milage isn't too out of line if you corner hard. I run 31 and 33 lbs. and got 1200 out of the o46s.

there is only a manufacturers defect and workmanship warranty, and you're gonna have a helluva time trying to argue that edge wear is a defect. besides, advans dont come with any sort of mileage warranty as far as i know, and alot of ppl dont get past 10-12k anyway ( i squeezed 14 out of mine)

this is pretty depressing. It is sort of mitsubishi fault because if the car was not aligned right then that was why the inside of the tire was worn. It is basically only on one side. The other tires have deep grooves and then on one of them the side is totally smooth

yeah..sorry to say tho, it comes with the territory..if you get high performance tires and drive hard you cant really expect too many miles out of them....i switched mine out for some 60k yokohama h4s...took a BIG hit on handling tho...i dont think it would be an alignment issue nless you drive on crappy roads or hit a pothole or curb or something
