Face it, the evo got OWNED and it was nasty! The srt driver even paid for the fool's gas. 
So stop making biotch *** excuses and take it like a man. You don't see me whining like a ***** about the mega ownage on the other vid of the srt do you? That was even nastier and funny too.
Had you seen a vid of a srt racing a regular lancer ( ) and the srt gets owned you'd be riding our asses to about it. Regardless if the srt driver couldn't drive.

This is such a great thread. Great videos...all of them. In fact the Evo owner who raced in most of those posts in the SRT forums all time time. I think his name is Dave.
You know I haven't seen any of groovytang's videos though. He used to tell everyone on the 350Z boards that those guys can walk Evos, hang with an E46 M3 (cuz it's a "drivers" race) and blow the door of a Mustang GT. Now he's an Evo fanboi without an Evo. Fun times. Oh yeah.
You're talking from a stop, right?...cuz a bone stock SRT-4 pulls on a bone stock Evo once you eliminate that AWD launch. You do realize that, right?

the evo is the best all around car for its money: engine,turbo w/intercooler,seats,brakes,awd,wing, looks.but thats my 2cents
dont get me wrong the srt-4 isnt that bad for 20g you could get than 2.5l turbo and for a couple of grands more you could get the stage3 turbo and etc.. but for me its still a neon and the rubber seats suck.

do you realize that a stock evo has more torque than an stock srt-4 even if you take the launch away the evo will still beat the srt-4

can we let this die... srt4 is a damn fine car. especially for the money. look at the cars in the $20k sport compact range and it blows the doors off them. i think that the evo is a more complete car, but that's why it's $10k+ more than the srt4.
the only thing that pisses me off about srt4s is that every one of them that i've come across on the road has been driven by some 16 year old punk (or at least some dood who acts like he's 16), and revs and tailgates and looks over sneering and TRIES to get me to race them. to me, that reflects badly on the car.
