I've had a little different problem with mine, the springs in the bottom squeak so bad it sounds like I'm riding around in a '57 chevy. The dealership is finally replacing it on Tuesday so it is a warranty issue and should be fine.

Are you kidding me? The JDM seats are SMALLER than the ones we have here. There's a reason why we got the special Recaros here, as the average American is much bigger than a Japanese guy

i had the exact same problem and i'm 147 5'7" so i'm not a fat *** mother****er. anyway, take it to the dealer, i had mine replaced (the replace the entire back part of the seat) but be prepared for a 6 hour job... ask for a ride to wehrever you need to go etc... cuz they said it would take 30 minutes and found out differently.

If you don't have cat. they have the right to void your warranty. It's against federal law for the dealer to operate on cars without cat. also, it's illegal for you to not have a cat.

same deal here...

- "you should be in and out in 45 minutes"

....5 hours later

- "well, we got the seat in, but we broke the new cover, can you come back in 3 weeks?...we can't give you a rental either, you'll need to get a ride."

I never said you were fat man. I'm 5'6 so we both can fit in the JDM seats without any problem. I agree, the JDM seats I thought was more grippy, in lack of a better term, than the USDM Recaros.

re:

I'm sort of a big guy. I'm 6ft bout 220lbs. Not fat at all. Didn't put that much force on the seat, so I thought.

My seat should be in Saturday. Didn't know that other people had problems with their seats.
