that sucks...as i know of catback systems wont void a warranty unless u take the cat out

 

I am a big guy, I'm built like a tree trunk but I am also fat, .... so I said it . I am 6'1" and 255. I broke my seat about 6 months ago. I was leaning way back to get something from behind the seat, which I used to always do. I guess it just got weaker and weaker over time. It broke down at the bottom just like everyone elses. This seams to be somewhat of a common problem for people of all sizes.

I haven't tried to get it fixed under warranty because I don't want to be *****ed at for all my mods, so I just left it. The seat is still structurally sound, but the right bolster is floppy. Kinda sucks, but I though about getting it fixed, but then I would just probably break it again eventually. Although now I don't try and stretch to reach anything in the back seat, I just get my fat *** out of the car to get it.

 

I got it replaced under warranty. I'm 6' 260...no questions asked. It broke towards the top of the seat. I do not know how the hell it happened. Any of you skinny guys that think being thick is bad, think of it this way...I make fat look good!

I should make my next performance mod to lose some weight! I gotta Bowflex, just time to use it!

My drivers seat broke today. I don't even know how it happened. It's the right lower side support. Going in wednesday so they can look at it and order the seat. The seat is still o.k. but it sucks that it's gotta get fixed.

They will only order the backhalf of the seat. From your butt to the head. And it costs $1700.00 bucks

thats stupid and if they try then fight them and u will win. Yes u do have to have a cat so put one on but they wont void ur warranty if have an aftermarket one on. Oh and the the whole front recaro seat $3500, back seat, $6500. No BS i asked Mitsu.

 

My seat just broke yesterday. Same thing, reaching in my back pocket and "pop". Now there is a nice size crack on the side of the seat. I called the dealership right after it happened and they are goign to look at it today. I had to say it 3 times that the seat borks he just didnt believe it.. Said its the 1st he's ever hard of, but that something like that must be a defet..

 

I carry my wallet in my front pocket like a batch because of this sheit. I didn't think I'd see a 05 with a broken seat.
