Help on law on Private Sales

Ok heres the deal...i have another car... 98 Eclipse. It is titled under my name and the pink slip was signed already by me about a year ago because i was planning to sell the car so the slip was signed and registration was in my car. I left the car with someone and i told him he could sell it and he could take some of the earnings. He never told me he was selling it and sold it off and now is trying to give me the money for hte car. I dont want the money, i want the car back. He said he sold it about 5 days ago and the buyer did all the paperwork with the DMV. Is there someway I can stop this sale from going thru? I was not present at the sale either which i dont know matters or not.

papers are signed, all you can do is ask the buyer if he will sell it back. otherwise be a standup guy.

don't be a john wayne talker who becomes cry baby when the shtf

ok i guess i didnt get it across right...i asked him to sell the car for a REASONABLE price, he sold it for 4k fully loaded with mods. I told him to sell it for atleast 6-8k. He goes and sells it for 4k which is why i want the car back. Get it now? The reason I'm trying to get it back is cuz im the owner and was not present at the sale. Yeah i regret signing the pink slip but i didnt konw he was gonna sell it for so cheap.

tell me about it. The sound system was worth 4k, less than 2 months old. It was more of a show car. Btw: Doesnt the owner have to do some paperwork? I mean all that was signed was the pink slip and nothing else. Is there anything else? I got no paperwork in return for the sale or anything.

If the title is in your name and you did not sign over the title or bill of sale HE CANT SELL IT!

Having said that I think you did this to your self. If you wanted it sold for a set amount you should have drawn up a contrtact that said so. I think you fu*ked yourself.
