I can't really see the intercooler where the two black vents are under the center 
badge. I wonder if there is a huge black beam there? I was worried that we are getting filled up bumper without those two vents to pass the crash test. That's a relief.
I also want to say xenons?

Yes, I've been confirmed Xenon HID projector headlamps. 
I think the picture is too dark to see the vents, but from what I was told, the bar was put behind the body work, not blocking any vents.

KC- I can't disagree with you more.. the pillar is inverted, grill nothing like the sunfire, same with the rest of the facia!
And I really think you should be more concerned with the looks from the back of the evo, after all driving that scooby thats the view you will see most!
Seriously guys I see more resemblance in a Cobra with that open mouth than a Pontiac, but hey you are entitled to your own opinion.

Yes. The sunfire looks hideous. You could compare a sunfire with a saturn. But, if you put the evo grill on the sunfire, the sunfire would be a niec looking car once again.

KC's Subie is a Wagon, so it's meaner than any car like it. The EVO is not a wagon, so you can't really compare them.
That front end looks MEAN!! It looks like it wants to eat up the road.
Does anyone know if the air evacuation scoop on the hood is functional? I would assume so, but I just wanted to make sure.
