Has anyone noticed that the EVO trademark intake scoop is missing? Looks tight though.

The pics of the 7 from EI have some amber in the front headlight assembly, but I don't think it's the turn signal. It does appear that the amber in this headlamp assembly is the turn signal, which would make it U.S. legal. I think you also need an amber reflector at the corner, too. It's probably integrated in with the amber of the turn signal lens.

It also appears as if the front bumper was done rather well, expecially if there's a bumper beam back there. No "bookshelf" style front bumper. Now we can only hope the rear bumper is the same way!

Heh.

I've been waiting to see pics of the 'merican Version. I've been snooping around here long enough. Having been a DSMer myself in the past, it's gonna be a tough call for the season... keep the wagon and throw more STX money at it, go for the STi or the EVO.

Hard choice. I'll have to drive it to see. Would be nice if the stats show a VC in the front diff too. That may make the difference.

And thanks for being sports with me thinking it looks like a sunfire. It was the least I could do with many of you guys who call the WRX a Neon.

i dont think the wrx looks like a neon if it makes you feel better. however, i dont like the bug eye lights on the front, but the sti, or an after market lights with the individual smaller lights inside are hip.

If you're talking about a Viscous Coupling in the front (VC?) then that's what I've heard all along.

Yep, 100% functional.
