Evo VIII, RS, or MR
With GSR you can save about $4500 over MR if you are not getting sunroof, leather, etc Gear ratios on GSR and MR are very similar, same until 3rd gear and lil closer after 4th... But if you can afford, go for MR!! Don't look back!! you will regret like i do... :*(
Where did you hear that the RS was faster on the track? Different tracks would be suited better for different transmissions.
Even with the better ride quality the bilsteins are still tuned to perform better and the downforce lost without the wing would be noticable on any high speed track (which is all of them compared to autox). Modded any of these cars has the potential to be better then the other. It's close but I see the MR as undoubtedly the most capable package w/ least compromise in stock form though.[/QUOTE]
My man almost all competions the first choice by the competitors is the RS. The lighter weight and Reliabilaty of the 5-speed tranny. The only track where the MR will out perform the RS is a circular track.
