Ralliart rotor upgrade(need info)
2010 Lancer Ralliart
Trying to upgrade just my front rotors. and all pads
They are warped and start to fade almost immediately going downhill, or when slowing down from 60-80, won't go faster because of this issue. i will also change fluid, i know that can be part of the problem
I'm trying to buy a kit (pads,rotors)
The options for the 2 kits I have seen are:
-DE
-ES
-Evolution
-Evolution (with 1 piece front rotors)
-GTS (with rear disc brakes)
i assume the GTS would be the most likely option but i would greatly appreciate some extra opinions or knowledge

The evo pads/rotors won't fit as they're much larger then the oem ralliart's. IIRC, the gts rear rotor/pads are the same as the ralliart's so they should fit, but the ralliart uses a 2 piston caliper instead of the 1 piston the gts uses so the pads and rotor are different sizes.
I'd personally recommend looking into one of ebc's brake kits, you can pick up their stage 5 kits front and back for about $250 each which includes slotted/dimpled rotors and their Yellowstuff pads, the rotors combined with a good dot 4 brake fluid will definitely help with the brake fade you're having as well as a decent increase in braking power. I've been running these brakes for about 5k km now and I haven't had any fade/warping issues hard braking from 200km/h+.

I'm running Centrics "middle tier" rotors all around. They are about 40-50 each rotor.
Currently, running Hawk Pads, which i'm about to switch to Akebono's. 50 bucks a set (front set and rear set).
Shop around. I usually pull the part number off something like Lancershop. Then, google it.
I did not do my brake fluid. I will do it on my next rotor change. Which is most likely after 100k miles.
