Well that just threw this whole forum off topic.....

So..... Lets get this back on topic, Tell her if she wanted the G35 then SHE can go buy the G35.

Then show her why you got an Evo.

i will enjoy it. we kinda trade off, but she buys much more for my car than hers. I bought her alarm and headlights. She boght my harnesses, license plate, exhaust, cd player, radar, and now in a week or so she is buying me the vortex generator, and i still got christmas presents coming too

From the sound of it, it seems like she's coming around. It took me almost a year to convice my wife to get one... And even then, I had to wait another year for a smoking deal to come around before I got mine (8K under retail). But even when I was in the process of buying it, she had cold feet and didn't like the car. But not until we test drove it without out the salesman... Then she was hooked like no other. It almost seems like she wanted the car more than I did when we were doing the paperwork... Anyway, bottom line, a car is not something worth argueing or getting upset or anything like that. Like one of the other members said, if she wants, let her get the G35, granted you guys can afford that along with the EVO...

I got a similar reaction when I came home with mine. My wife hates the EVO. Obviously, she doesn't know its specs nor its heritage. She just thinks its a "wannabe" car with a ridiculous wing.

With freakin' Evom, Ebay, car magazines, tv shows, etc. - Like someone said earlier - it only get worse from here on out.

Hm, I guess I'm lucky that my girlfriend is into cars and loves the Evo... though her dream is still the M3.

My wife was the same way. I was going to get a G35 6MT Coupe but in the end bought my dream car the almighty EVO! I was also looking at the STI but she absolutly hated the look of the STI due to the hood scoop and wing. She has learned to except the EVO and now likes it except for the wing. Give her time, she will adjust. In the meantime, go have some fun with your EVO.

my g/f was angry at the fact that i kept modding my formula(she called the the millon dollar car), and since i was gonna pop the question soon, i figured lemme get something a little more sensable, well, i bought my EVO and she got so mad at me we're not together anymore. I'm happy i bought the car, esp. since i'm in NJ, but at the same time, i miss my V8
