You are right on the spot, some women tend to be jelous when it comes to cars, when i said that i want an evo, she said no, (well i still have no evo, but soon probably will).
Women like luxury, they usually don't care about speed. and i know that when i get mine, she be jelous, cause i be spanding more time with the car..

I guess I'm lucky because my wife actually wanted me to get the Evo. When I had my turbo eclipse she would constantly show me ads of people selling Evo's. We ended up stopping at a dealership out of the blue and I just wanted to look around(didn't feel like dealing with any b.s.). She on the other hand is telling the salesman that I want to test drive an Evo and I wasn't about to turn that down. I ended up getting a decent deal and the rest is history.

My wife loves the evo, learned to drive stick in it, and drives it more than I do (till she get's her mini s in february) and insisted I get the big wing, when I wanted the small wing. She only *****es at me when I buy stuff and have said that I am not going to. She loves all my mods. She also drives it at autox. She is the greatest wife in teh world! She even helps work on the car. Loves when I host install days for my car group. She loves star trek, sci-fi and is an awesome cook. Did I say she is the greatest?

My wife didn't want me to get the EVO. She has not even driven in it yet, and I have had it for a few weeks. It is difficult to do something your wife or girlfriend doesn't want you to do, but then again, they don't have to like the car if they're not going to be seen in it. I love my EVO and don't care if people think it looks like "ricey". They simply don't understand, and that's fine with me.

Unreal. Loves mod, autox, working on cars, sci-fi, AND COOKS? Awesome. Where can I purchase one of these cyborgs?

I would like one also.
Oh wait! mine lieks everything else except "modding" part. I thinks it's too fast already. But she's still the greatest one I've found so far :P

My g/f loves the Evo and knows a ton about cars. The first time she rode in the car with me she said "this car definitely has new cams in it." my jaw dropped.

The only thing that does suck is that she's scared to death of me driving fast because her stupid ex b/f had an accident while street racing.

Oh well, at least she keeps me safe (while she's in the car...)

Any girl that would dump someone over a car is the same type of girl who would complain that an engagement ring is too small...If there are any signs of this, dump the girl YESTERDAY. Luckily my fiance likes the Evo, and eventually wants to get a sports car herself. The wait for the Evo is annoying, but I want to make sure I get the best rate on a car loan (hence I'm paying off my credit cards before I get the Evo...around March). I could get in tomorrow, but now that would be as stupid as complaining that an engagement ring is too small.

Yeah, I can buy that. The first couple of weeks after getting my car, I would get all sorts of compliments from complete strangers and girls looking even when my wife is in the car with me.... Even up to now I still get occasional head turning "damn" look...

I got lucky. My wife loves the evo. Wanted me to buy it so later on down the road, when my son grows up, I can pass on the evo to him(and it'll still be a bada$$, modded car)

my wife gets car sick very easily. She couldn't ride in my MR2, and could barely make it in the Rx-7 when I had it. The EVO was fine until I added a rear sway bar. Actually made it worse than the MR2 for her.

To quote one of my friends: "Mitsubishis make babies cry"

As for racing: Sex belongs in the bedroom and racing on the track. Try not to mix the two up.
