Yes, I like sunroofs. Won\'t make that much performance gain. Not road racing anyways.

I'm actually almost positive it'll be the external deployment that you are referring to (though I prefer those kind). The internal deployment sunroofs are generally only seen in more luxury-type vehicles.

i'm a little surprised more people would opt for the sunroof/moonroof. i had a 323gtx with a moonroof and it rusted and leaked. plus, less headroom and the aforementioned weight and rigidity issues makes my vote a nay.

Actually if it is anything like the current Lancer's available sunroof, it will go down inside the vehicle. That type has nothing to do with rather if it is a luxury vehicle, but rather if the roof is capable of holding it, with a few exceptions. Sedans like Lancers and Galants yes, coupes like Eclipses no.

I don't want a sunroof, since you also lose almost 1 inch of headroom (and I am sorta tall for a small car). My head sometimes hits the roof of my Eclipse with sunroof...

but when you open the sunroof you get xxx amount of headroom. all the headroom in the world! though I do see your point. luckily I'm shorter so sunroof it is ... for me at least.

Well, its really up to you... But for me its just waste of cash. You can just spend it on some performance mod instead, but if you got the extra cash, go ahead and get that sunroof.....
