yet another victim of EVO vandalism
Hey guess...last night by EVO got vandalised in the parking lot of some stores. No cameras or people caught who did it. It was probably random stupidness by some 17 year old kid.
They threw a brick(s) or some kind of rock(s) on the roof of my car. It made 2 large dents, 2 of which are arou8nd a 6 inch cut. I talked to some ppl and they said I might have to replace the entire roof panel.
I have pics of the destruction on my yahoo photos page under "vandalism" album...please cry with me...

I treat people with respect, I'm not a dick....I worked so hard for my car too...all for some spoiled kid who feel jealous probably b/c his daddy won't buy him one, to come and ruin it.
well I will go to a couple places for estimates, my friend told me since they are not round dents but like scraped dents, I might have to replace the whole damn roof panel. I was thinking that my comprehensive insurance (Metlife) should give me a hefty payday right? I'll either use it all to prepay part of my loan, or just get a new roof, or I was just thinking this morning have them cut me a power sunroof with that cash.
but I'll know tomorrow when I take it in...
keep y'all posted

I had something like this happen to me, well, vandalism to my car, that is.
I took matters into my own hands.
I don't suggest you do the same.
Sorry about your luck. That is some bad damage, but perhaps it could be possible to get a 2005's roof, since they are aluminum? If you are going OEM to repair it, you might as well save a bit of tall weight to remove body roll.

Ouch!!! Sorry to see that, man. I feel your pain -- that happened to one of my previous cars. All I know is, if I have a chance to catch whoever is doing that to my vehicle -- he better make his peace with the man upstairs
That's one of the rules growing up -- never screw with a man's ride.
