hey good luck with this one. for me, i have been obsessed with cars since way before i met my wife. through the 4 yrs we dated, i was also obsessed with cars. sure she seems to get annoyed with it sometimes, and thinks that it is a little ridiculous, but deep down inside i know that she loves me for it. women in general want a man who is passionate about something. it shows emotion, and i am passionate about cars, she understands that, and i wouldnt be the man she wanted to marry without having this passion. sure it takes some coaxing, i had to pull "honey you are pregnant, and we need a four door" it worked like a charm.

Quote: Man this thread reads like a Dr. Phil book! Great stuff guys, yeah I'll get what I want, just have to be persistent I think that's the main thing. Someone said above, as soon as she realizes that this isn't one of those fleeting impulse ideas she'll lighten up.
I haven't mentioned an Evo for about a week so today I asked the 'ol lady "Are you still processing?". She surprised me by how quick she answered. She said "yeah, but it's good processing...I'm OK with giving you a little hope now". That sounds like a definate maybe. Schweeeeeeeet! Eevoo and the other married guys will understand my joy. It's sure feels nice when the wife doesn't crush your nuts in that vice called "hope".
