$27,300 for an 05 RS is a great deal. Can't believe I spent so much more for my MR. I would of added the shocks and wheel and have money to save for the next ride. Too bad the evo is just like computers. Every year you want a new one

I guess it depends on your carrier. I went from a 2001 Neon ACR to a 2004 SRT-4 and paid $200 more a year. My girl went from a 2001 Neon R/T to a 2005 Evo RS and it went up $400.

so you're paying 17 and some chang overall on the evo? i put 15k down on mine. I got it for 30 after taxes and title, etc. My APR wasnt that bad, but not that great either. I pay 383.70 a month. 3 or 4 year loan.

I really think it all depends on what you can afford and what you are "willing" to pay for an item (the evo). The result of how you feel in the future about your present purchase may change and make you fill like crap, but oh well, if you like it-->you can afford it-->get it. I think it is not a great price but not a bad one either.

newsflash for everyone, I decided to keep the SRT4, and tonight bought a new 05 Suzuki GSXR600 in yellow with all the matching gear, helmet, jacket and gloves.

I'll be picking it up next week. now time to look for my own apartment

Congrats. Sounds like you had some money burning a hole in your pocket. When it comes to bang for the buck, motorcycles are in a league of their own.

thanks, In addition, if I got the RS I'd have to finance it for 6 years at $340/mo. i'd be a slave to the loan for 6 YEARS, plus I have to keep full coverage on it. A lot of money thrown away.

I bought my bike for $8195 OTD, not a penny more. I spent another $580 on gear, a SHOEI RF1000 matching helmet, an official matching Suzuki armored jacket, and some matching armored gloves as well.

Yamaha are nice bikes but I've always been into Suzuki GSXr's

My two buddies drive R6's, one an 04 red/Black, and another with an 01 Blue white, and me with my yellow/blue/white 05 GSXR600

For me my 02GSXR600 is collecting dust since I bought the Evo.
