Goofy test pipe requirements.

I bought a UR test pipe from a board member and checked it for fitment this evening. I was dissappointed to discover that I should have done my homework first. The exhaust the previous owner of my Evo put on was an RMR downpipe and AMS catback connected with a shop-made Vibrant catalytic converter.

Is there a test pipe made to connect these exhaust pieces? Should I have a custom pipe made, or replace the catback so that I can use the UR test pipe I just bought?

Please check out the pics.

Do what I did
Take a look at my "test pipe" It is just plain aluminized 3" piping I bought for $15. Paid a guy $15 to cut my flanges off and weld this thing on. Looks ok and works... if you want it to look perfect buy polished stainless and weld that on. Here are the pics:

How about this: where can I can a set of flanges, one 3-bolt flange and one 2-bolt flange for welding up a custom test pipe?

Thanks.

Make them. Flat stock, a hole saw, and a drill, + patience

I would rather buy them. Perhaps I will call AMS as I am confused how their catback could have ever bolted up to the stock cat.

Thanks.
