5-speed manual transmission
Hey!!! How come U.S. Evo VIII is having 5-speed manual transmission intead 6-speed?
Also I don't know not much about the difference between 5-speed and 6speed!!
What's the difference? I know 6speed has one more gear, but what's the difference in performance, speed and modification wise?

A six speed will have shorter gear ratios than a fiver but possibly sacrifice durability. It will have no effect on modifying but may be a hassle for people who aren't to versed in the art of stick.
Word is that mitsu was uncomfortable with the durability and quality of their initial design of a 6 speed transmission. So, they decided to go with a close ratio 5, which, we know, is pretty much bullet proof from Mitsu. The bad news is that highway driving may be a little more noisy than you'd like, and that gas mileage won't be as good as it could be with a 6. I personally, would rather mitsu throw on a quality part than slap on a 6 speed that they don't think is of the best quality just to say that there is a 6 speed option.
