I've read the abstract on the generator and stuff but when its installed do you actually notice a difference? How so?

I talked to a guy that had one, he made a high speed run, hit 150, stopped, put on the vortex generator, made same pass, said it was definitely more stable and planted. Made the difference for me. My wife though, I asked for it for christmas, she says "A HUNDRED AND SIXTY NINE DOLLARS FOR A DANG PIECE OF PLASTIC? NO FING WAY! YOU COULD MAKE IT YOURSELF!" I then replied she could get me the spiffy carbon fiber one for like 2-3 times as much, and I got the evil glare of death. I love how it looks, she hates it, so I probably won't get it.
