My prefernce is either white or black, no sunroof and a big **** wing. You are getting blue with sunroof right! I think I saw you passed on the yellow no sunroof.

I will post when they call me today - fingers crossed.

You are correct. I took the blue over the yellow...even though I don't want a sunroof. You'll have to let me know what your dealer gets..I am really interested in the silver also...

MEga,

My dealer doesn't know it's allocation yet either. They said they didn't expect any till the beginning of March. So maybe that's the deal.....Dealers in the 1st allotment know what to expect, since the info only came up in the system a few days ago. Whereas the dealers in the second allotment won't know for another few weeks.

SC~who had a dealer call him yesterday trying to get him to buy an Evo for $200 UNDER MSRP.

Hey Mega, It was Lancaster Mitsu you had me call. At the time they wouldn't even accept names for a waiting list.

But between then and now, I moved to Northern Virginia. One of the first things I did once I got settled in here was find the Mitsu dealerships that are away from the Metro areas....I found 2. One offering at MSRP, the other offering at $200 below MSRP. I have a spot on the line at the MSRP place. The $200 under MSRP place is going to call me again next week with more specific info. I told them if they could get me a silver, blue, or yellow NO sunroof car before April, I would be their customer.

SC~ who really should update that profile...

You would figure by now (Dec. 30th) that all dealerships should know their allocations right? Since mine still doesn't know does that mean that they won't get any in the first round? And when approximately is the second shipment?

Yes..if they don't know that means they aren't getting any Evos on the first allocation. The second allocation will be about one month after the first mid-late March.

Dealerships that were allowed to select cars in the first allocation round did so a couple of weeks ago. There is no more new vehicle ordering until 1/6/2003 - that includes all models, not just the EVO.

I do not know when the second ordering window will open for the EVO.
