the evo 8 is going to be a 2004 model?

can anytone confirm this or not?

Having an 2004 car so early into 03 will be kind of COOL.

All the latest press releases have said that the 2004 Lancer Evolution will debut at the LA Auto Show. Confusing...

 

i am also confused, since the evo is coming out shortly i dont see how it could be a 2004, but thats what im hearing

there is no reason for them to listed as 2003 in jdm and 2004 in us market

the 01 eclipses came out very early in the year too. It was like march of 2000. Mitsu does this for some reason. not sure why.

 

The only reason i can think of why would make it a 04 is the special 0.0%apr and deal they are or will offer. It sounds good when they say "for all new 03 models and etc."

 

still it would sound stupid

if evo8 in japan is 2003 and us spec evo is 2004

and the 0% apr wont really affect the evo i really dont think that

car will get a special %

 

They don't have it for the Montero Sport or Eclipse Spyder. They most likely won't do it one the Evolution because they never have trouble moving these cars. If they don't need to offer an incentive then there's noreason theyshould. It'll only cut into their immediate profits.

Also, according to their website, the EvoVIII should be inside the LA convention center by now. Anyone that works there or have access to the convention center please try to get some sneak peek pictures!!! Or we can just send in GlobeCLK

That's absolutely right. I'm sure Mitsu will continue their 0% for the other models but they certainly won't offer it for the EVO. So now they can say 0% APR for all 2003s.
