Question for all the people who get snow
Salt? Where do you live? Here in Denver when it snows they throw down a sand/gravel mix and magnesium chloride.
The mag chloride is a ***** to wash off though, so a good washing should be done as soon as most of the snow melts?
Just my .02

LOL just drive it. My car has seen 43,000 miles of rain, snow, gravel, salt, slush, animal blood. The whole nine yards, and my car isn't rusting or anything. Sure it looks like a car with 43,000 miles on it, but its nothing excessive. just drive it.
I live in Minnesota too.
I live in Minnesota too. The salt sucks, but I sold my S2000 to avoid driving a beater. It's not reliable to drive a beater if it breaks down when it's 10 degrees below zero. I know how you feel because I hate the moment I hear the salt getting underneath the car. I'm going to get extra rustproofing. I just go to the self service car wash and spray the underbody of the car thoroughly. So you got the White MR? How do you like it?

also, try to keep the salt of of the electrical. use a lot of wd-40, or other type of water displacing spray on wires, and connections.
I wouldn't be too worried. Cars today are made much better in terms of anti-rusting technology(i.e. the factory undercoating, better weather seals, galv. steel, etc). These aren't integra type r's with the undercoating removed for weight reduction.
I agree with the comment that the underbody flush at the car wash is your best defense.
You wash it frequently and it will last a long long time--10-15 years+.
