in due time...I have a WRX looking to trade up to EVO or STi...I plan on having both rally icons under my roof...however, my buddy on the BMW M5 forum is making me think about going German though...wish I had enough cash for an M5 too

don't we all wish to have one! I will be looking to get an used E39 M5 in 2-3 yrs time when the prices come down a bit. Hopefully there will be relatively low mileage ones out there by that time.

I'm sure there will be...these last E39 M5's out are going to classic! My buddy was lucky enough to pick up the remaining few '03 E39 M5's that will be imported here to the US.

that's great. If I am not mistaken, he has the CB or Jet Blk one correct? I read that allocations will go through until April (as opposed to the previously stated Feb. end of production). Who knows, maybe one of us wins the lottery and drive home with a new one before production stops

yeah.. that's right...he picked up the Jet Blk M5...that would be sweet to win the lottery...then I would need to build a bigger garage

Out here in the chicagoland area, I'm sure there are alot of people already out on the waitlist...as in all parts of the US...just waiting for the right time to get in line.

 

Seats look more like the WRX seats than any 5 point harness style recaros. Only time will tell I suppose.
