I think I read sometime ago that it falls apart after a month or so... stick with stock or K$N drop in(but make sure its not too oily) ....ralliart drop in apparently dissentigrates after a month or too also.

I have the HKs drop in. I didn't notice any difference. Had it on like 2 months works great. 30 bucks better than 120 for Monster or Ralliart one. I recommend it but I didn't notice any gains or difference in response.

I would say just stick with the K&N drop-in filter, it seems that people have felt more of a difference with that one so just stick with what works..

I've used them for about a year now. For the price (mind you) it's a great performance adder. I have increased throttle responsiveness vs. the stock cotton filter. Much better breathing. I wouldn't expect the huge gains some of you guys seem to expect for $30-40 bucks. Oh yeah, better gas mileage too.

...and for you noise freaks, it makes the 'bov' and 'turbo spool' sounds louder.

I have it, got it a year a go and still looks like new. I think it breath better than any other drop in filter because its foam made (not paper).

Is it worth the money? I would say yes.

I have the blitz LM drop in filter. Does not requrie oil like the K&N, and is a steel mesh material on bottom , so will not disintegrate like HKS/monstersport.

how much is that?

I felt a definite difference with my car with the K&N filter. Car actually leap forward without any power lag.

That's with MBC, Full cat delete. I think I may invest some money into the k&N but I just want to make sure if the HKS drop in would be any better.

I have the k&n too. Very small gains but car feels more punchy.. and gas milage has improved.

Seems cheaper in the long run to go with a k&n style rather than buying filters every couple months.

The Blitz LM was 45. Another thing w/ the HKS is that HKS suggests you change it out every 5k. So in the long run it does not turn out being much cheaper than the other filters which cost more. If you order the Blitz induction cover, it comes w/ the blitz LM filter and a lid to replace the stock snorkel, for about 120.

yeh, that's what I was figuring, since I'm buying a filter like every 2 months. and they're $20 each.
