yea opinions vary but I didn't know this forum was to bash other makes?
i never said the lancer evolution was a core product. just pointing out that 5k/year does not constitute a limited production car in many peoples eyes. IMHO

If some of you would bother to read other forum threads first instead of just posting up more garbage, you would have seen that 
has purposely kept dealers in the dark. "Dumb" dealers aren't ignorant, they are organizations that just aren't as excited/ informed about the EVo as you or I. After the embargo they will know all ...................but of course so will you. Cut them some slack, You will find more information here than you will from most dealers.
Granted they aren't informed but they should at least give accurate information and not lie just to sell you the car.
Also i chose 3 out of about 8 dealers i talked to. 2 of which knew about the car and were selling it for the same amount over msrp as the rest of their cars, but they then hagle for price so its about msrp unless you take it in the but. one of the dealers laughed when i said the prices some others were selling it for. I can understand selling 10k over msrp if you get one car and 14 prospective buyers but roseville for example is getting 9 that is rediculus.

welcome to the free market system. I'm so glad so many peope are interested in dealership profits. dealers have millions of dollars tied up in thier business. They have every right to charge what they think the market will bear. It doesn't mean everyone does it.
you have leggs, a brain and unless your foolish (a fool and his money are easily parted) you will vote which dealer will earn your business with your checkbook. Don't Like additional markup-fine buy elsewhere or wait.
WORD TO ALL THE WHINERS: STOP WITH ALL THE WHINEING. people are different, so are the dealers find one you like lets then be positive. OK!
P.S.:Next time you buy a car.....why not tell them they aren't making enough$$$, tack on an extra $100. Buy the starving sales crew dinner---or just be NICE!
