Someone needs to come up with a design that plugs directly into the plug the stock O2 sensor gets plugged into. No splicing of wires. Just unplug and remove your O2 sensor, plug the O2 sim in, cap the hole in the exhaust and that's it.

Why not just build the mechanical 02 sensor like the subbie boys? Use the two 02 foulers from autozone and drill one out to 1/2".

I used the mechanical one. Over 8,000 miles on it no CEL AT ALL! It's very easy, and VERY cheap.

Because on some exhausts, like mine (Perrin), it puts the O2 sensor in such a position that it hits the underside of the car and gives a nice rattle sound as you drive down the road.

Good point. Hell, I haven't had one that lasted long enough. They work for a few weeks then dud. I'd like to find one that is dependable.

I have the one from o2simulator.com and it works great. Wired it into my Fields harness with my SAFCII. No trouble at all.

There is a post here in the forum. Basically all you do is buy Anti foul plugs at your local auto store and drill out the center of 1 of them to 1" I think. You usually get 2 in a pack so you screw 1 onto the DP bung with the little hole in it and the one that you drilled out screws onto the O2 sensor and then onto the one that is already on the O2 bung. Not sure what size you would have to find that in the post. It works great for me. It did rattle 1 time but that was because the O2 sensor came lose because I did not want to tighten it to much in fear I would crack the anti foul plug that I drilled out. 8,000 miles and running strong. My car has never seen a CEL yet.

Yep...I have this problem with the Greddy exhaust. I will be switching to an electronic O2 simulator soon.
