I second the puma comment--they function quite well and are stylish/sturdy enough to be worn everyday.

I like the Oakley 1320 or the Adidas Tuscany.

I use addidas shell toes, although the 90 degree angle soles need to be worn a bit to get proper smooth pedal actions. There is good pedal feel after they are broken in though. I am going to try to get some real driving shoes before my next track or auto-x event though.

I have adidas driving shoes that are awesome.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...=driving+shoes

EDIT: those are special purpose driving shoes. I also really, really like wearing my wrestling shoes from back in the school days. They are very thin and have a lot of grip. Unforunately neither driving shoes nor the wrestling shoes are very good for walking around once I get wherever I'm going. I'v found a good pair of cross trainers (like New balence) to be fair tradeoff...Good lord, am I really talking about shoes?
