You guys asked for it and we listened. In just a few short weeks the March 2005 issue (goes on sale the first week in February), has the ultimate Evo test; Evo MR vs. VIII vs. RS. No other magazine has done this test and none would be as extensive.

i hope the RS is the fastest, if i had an RS, and had no rollup windows, no power locks , and sometimes, no AC, then i hope that it's the fastest!

 

I waited ,a and waited for the right time to buy , and 05 is great, but look @ the bright side for the 03 guys: at least you could get the moonroof w/o the stereo!

 

Ha, ha, that happens on a daily basis...this will just re-stir the pot.

 

Well, it would appear that the writers got bored with comparing the STI and the Evo - I wish they would've put the SRT4 Neon in the mix - that way it would just be a spankfest, which would result in a few less challenges on the street which we all know who the winner is going to be.

Was the EVO GSR a 03, 04 OR 05 - Cause ACD and other additions to 05 may make a difference. I would have recommended a

03/04 GSR, 03/04 RS, 05 GSR, 05RS and 05 MR - That really would have answered all questions.

motor trend is a bunch of biased liars anyway... i.e... when comparing the 05 mustang against the evo rs for bang for your buck. Ok..once they get into the part about performance.. and how the mustang is an absolute joke in comparison, they change the subject about which car will get you more girls.
