G35 Coupe is right around the corner for me.

Love the EVO but it's time for something with refined power and some comfort features.

If you can - jump into a slower/not as balanced car for a while.

You'll learn to appreciate the Evo more.

I'm in the process of putting a turbo kit on my M3. My goal is 400rwhp. Then time to mod the Evo.

I haven't driven a car quite like the Evo. I've driven/been in many high HP cars - but this car is such a blast to drive!

I don't think I'll ever sell my Evo - this is a car I plan on keeping for a while.

I'd get the g35 before a Z.

I think they just flat out look better. If you were still about power you'd just keep your EVO, no?

I have 13k on my evo now, I've only had it since 10/11/04 but I still love every mile. Out of all the different cars I've owned I can honestly say this is the most enjoyable. Sure you can get faster/more powerful cars but how many of them can you drive 365 days a year.

I can relate to what some of you are saying about "the thrill is gone", I've felt that with other cars but not this one. And I'm 100% stock with the exception of a MBC

35.5k now... looking for another one for the wife

The only BlTCH I have is lack cruise of control, and the ability to divert enough funds to finish my 11sec daily driver.

I wouldn't trade my evo for anything right now, I plan on keeping it until it falls apart. If anything once I have more money (alot more money, not even in college yet) and I get sick of it I will stop paying insurance, garage it, and withing a year i guarentee you i will want to bring it out again. It's such an intuitive car it would be hard to go with anything else for long without missing it horribly.

i agree with what a few people ahve said, i dont get to drive the evo, at it's or even close to its limits well, ever. i mean sure i will be driving along on the highway and drop to 3rd and hammer it, but you worry about tickets, and profiling and pissing people off. ilke someone said, i borrow my mother in laws 02 taurus, and drive it for like 20 miles, and i am more than ready to drive the evo again. i have nicknamed the taurus, the "jellomobile" mostly cause it feels like jello. you could drive that thing asleep.

I got my evo about 5 months ago i got about 14K miles on it would never trade it i am on my quest for 11 second Safe daily driver cant wait for the summer and i am deffinetelly stickin with the car for a while. The only concern i have is when i get to like 60 70 100 K miles if i will, how will the car hold up suspension wize and will it make a million noises while drivin because if thats the case imma get rid of it my brother had two s4's and on one of them he had 85K miles and it was like new not a sound inside awesome car. So for now i am deffinetelly stickin with the evo "i never had soo much fun drivin a car" oh and if ur lookin for a rear wheel drive car SUPRA is deff. the way to go

The curse of being a "car guy" is that there are too many new and interesing vehicles out there to tempt us. The service manager at the local Ford dealership once told me that he had owned 94 cars in his life (he's about 50) and I believe him. He would buy a hot car, drive it for a few months, get tired of it, and try something else. I suspect that a number of Evo owners are in this category, and I expect we will see them turnover their cars in the coming year. There is always something faster, sleeker, better handling, and sexier. In the end, it's just a car. For some, the Evo is the ultimate car of their dreams. For others, the Evo is just another rung in the ladder.

anyone here had at least 30k mile on their car?
hahaha, when i had 15k i was still exploring and my excitment was through the roof.
thanks for all your opinions, keep them coming!!
few people here suggest supra, but aren't supra kinda old now??
i was thinking about 350z becaseu it's dirt cheap now, for a brand new base 25k out the door, so i'm like sweet what a bargain. g35 of course is nice, but at least 39k
and i'm definitly looking for a NA, that turbo lag for daily drive is really pain in the *** sometimes.
