it wasn't a bad ride at 180...but because of the sensitivity of the steering, you kind of had to let the steering wheel go where it wants to go, and no sudden movements. there wasn't that much road noise. Generally I would say it felt very stable at that speed....but you knew you were doing it

yes to bilsteins

WoW! Congrats bro!

I often wonder what the top speed of my car would be at 7300-7500 RPM in 5th gear. I can tell you that my car has enough power that it is not "drag limited". Someday I will find out. In the meantime, I will just be thankful that I am alive and I have my freedom (meaning, I don't want to die just yet, and I damn sure don't want to get locked up for tripling the speed limit.)!

Nice run mate!

yeah no probs....list price is £29,995 but I paid just under £28,000 for it. No doubt if you do get it over there, it will be about $29,995.

Well, 29,000 british pounds is about 54,000 U.S dollars (ouch). Still, if I had that much money to spend I just might do it. It's an awesome vehicle.

Thanks for the pictures! I just about had a cow when I saw the milk and bread on your car lol. Man your car is "off the chain" and you must really be proud of it. Do not let the negative comments get to you. Keep us in touch , most of us really enjoy this thanks.

yeah, but you seem to get everything cheaper in the US (except skylines ) so it'd probably only cost a few grand more than your base spec MR edition.

thanks rook

Yeah, it works out like that. Last time I was back home the cheapest Neon was 10K GBP while the cheapest Neon here was $10K (a little of 5K GBP). It seems everything's the same price if you consider 1 GBP = 1 USD. I think Top Gear said the new 'Vettes would be around 40K GBP which is close to $80K while the only cost $40K here. One of the reasons I moved here . Incidentally, we have a few 'British' shops over here that sell stuff like Lucozade and Vimto as well as real sausages and they charge you a freaking arm and a leg for that stuff. At least I can buy Tetley tea online!!

Anyway, I digress, nice car mate.
