Smile New....

Was up every body.I had an 2004 srt-4 bad *** car I liked It lot.But It got totaled on the 14 of jan.I dont drive the car for the winter.but for a long story short.took It on the highway and hit a patch of ICE and you all should get the picture.Im not one of those crazy *** cocky srt driver that people seem to talk about .I have a son and a future wife and good family to live for.Put I also like car mostly the evo.This Is my last srt cause I also had an 2003 on the 12 day I had It I got rear ended by a drunk driver.Thanks god Im ok.But my question to all you evo guys Is should I wait and buy a 2005 or wait for the evo 9.6 speed does not matter to me but Its seem Its gonna be a little better than the 8 overall or am Im wrong?My plan to purchase an evo Is around the month of july/august.so I can have a nice down payment.All comments are welcome.thanks.

I'd wait for IX if you going to be waiting for August anyway for monies to raised, it speculated to be released around that timeframe (according to current rumours) and even if don't get a 9, the VIII's will be cheaper if/when it does come out. In fact you maybe able to pickup MR if the price drop's...as 9's are (speculated) to have all the MR gear anyway, pricing maybe close between the VIII MR and IX but we'll just have to wait and see about that...if you just want to get a good deal on VIII GSR/RS then a wait is still likely to be best bang for buck...

if you have a son and wife save your money and go with an 04. theres not really much difference at all with the evos, except for color. after you mod them they pretty much are the same.

It has alot more engine tweaks and is comin out of the factory around 310-315 hp , and a little body diffrence , not much though. Its going ot be the equivelent to the FQ-300 .

I'd probably wait for the exact details of the US 9 before picking, but like people said, if you decide on an 8 after the 9 is about to go on sale...good prices. I'm even thinking of trading up to the 9 myself depending on price and whatnot...
